Kylie and Kendall Jenner are following in big sister Kim Kardashian's mobile game success by working on an app of their own.
The sisters, who rose to fame on the popular reality TV show Keeping Up with the Kardashians,
are working with Glu Mobile to build a game that features the "voices,
likenesses and creative influences of Kendall and Kylie," according to
the company.
Glu, the company behind both Kim Kardashian: Hollywood and the recently announced Katy Perry mobile game, announced on Tuesday that it will launch later this year on iOS and Android.
While Kim Kardashian: Hollywood game focused on becoming famous in a virtual world (and even featured character cameos from Kendall and Kylie),
The Jenner sisters' game will center on interactions with others and mentors as they grow their careers.
Kim's gaming app, which launched in June 2014, continues to dominate
the most-downloaded charts even months after its release. It brought in $43 million
in just six months and embraces a freemium model: It's free to download
and play, but in-app purchases are needed to unlock new features and
gain status.
Kim may be the leading force of the Kardashian empire, but the Jenner
sisters have made a name for themselves off the small screen, too.
Kendall Jenner, 19, is a fashion model and the face behind several ad
campaigns, while 17-year-old Kyle is an ambassador for clothing lines
and beauty products (when she's not gracing the covers of gossip
magazines, of course). The sisters also have more than 72 million social
followers combined across Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
Glu said it will announce more details on the game at a later date.
